Dr. Norah Whitten, DPT

Dr. Norah Whitten is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Owner of Functional Phyzio and Performance Therapy in Durham, NC. She earned a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois, then a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Duke University.

Dr. Whitten’s practice is shaped by her history as a competitive gymnast and diver. She loves working with active adults, specifically those who enjoy functional fitness and weightlifting. In addition, Dr. Whitten treats a variety of pelvic floor dysfunctions and especially loves helping moms (during pregnancy and postpartum) overcome these challenges so they can do the activities they love and feel strong. 

Outside of work, you’ll find Dr. Whitten in athleisure wear, usually at the gym or doing something outside with her husband and son.
