Kathryn founded Nurtured Nest after becoming a parent and realizing that even with a background in child development, education and curriculum, the advice still felt scattered, conflicting, and hard to use in real life.
So she built what she wished existed: short lessons, practical tools, and expert guidance that parents can come back to when the next question shows up.
Kathryn leads Nurtured Nest with the same heart it started with: a small idea sketched out on a date night, built to help parents feel less alone and more prepared. What began as a local resource has now reached more than 3,000 families across 35+ states, Washington, DC, and 6 countries.
