Baby's First Year
One organized online course for postpartum recovery, newborn care, feeding, sleep, development, pelvic health, and your baby’s first year.
Baby’s First Year is built for the questions that show up after baby arrives — the feeding questions, the sleep questions, the recovery questions, the “is this normal?” questions, and the moments when you just need someone calm and practical to explain what matters. Instead of piecing together advice from Google, social media, hospital handouts, and late-night group chats, you get clear, expert-led guidance in one organized place.
Built for the real first year — not just the first few days
Postpartum recovery · pelvic health · newborn care · feeding · sleep · milestones · play + connection · downloadable guides

Frequently Asked Questions
A few details about what is included, when to start, and how families use Baby’s First Year for newborn care, feeding, sleep, safety, development, and the questions that keep showing up.
What is included in Baby’s First Year?
Baby’s First Year gives you practical online parent education for the first 12 months with your baby, including newborn care, feeding, sleep, safety, development, starting solids, common concerns, and parent support.
It is designed to help you learn ahead of time and come back later when the next “wait, is this normal?” question shows up.
When should I start — before or after birth?
Both work. Many parents start before birth with newborn care, feeding basics, safe sleep, soothing, diapering, and what to expect in the early days.
If your baby is already here, you can jump straight to the age or topic you need. The course is meant to be useful whether you are preparing ahead or learning in the middle of real life.
How is this different from the Childbirth & Postpartum course?
The Childbirth & Postpartum course focuses on labor, birth, hospital decisions, cesarean birth, and the first weeks of recovery.
Baby’s First Year picks up with baby care and early parenting: newborn care, feeding, sleep, safety, development, solids, routines, common baby questions, and support for the parent side of the first year.
Does this cover sleep?
Yes. The sleep content covers newborn sleep, realistic expectations by age, sleep environment, routines, common sleep questions, and different ways families approach sleep.
We do not push one rigid method. The goal is to help you understand baby sleep so you can make choices that fit your baby, your capacity, and your family.
Does it cover feeding — breastfeeding, formula, and solids?
Yes. The course covers early feeding, breastfeeding basics, bottle feeding, formula feeding, combo feeding, feeding questions, and starting solid foods.
The tone is practical and nonjudgmental. Feed your baby in the way that works for your baby and your family.
How do I know if my baby’s development is on track?
The course helps you understand baby development and milestones without turning every little thing into a panic spiral.
You will learn what is common, where there is normal variation, what to bring up at well visits, and when it makes sense to ask your pediatrician for more guidance.
Does this include infant safety?
Yes. Baby’s First Year includes safety guidance for everyday baby care, including safe sleep, babyproofing, common safety concerns, and ways to think through risk as your baby grows.
If you want deeper infant CPR, choking response, car seat, and emergency readiness support, our Infant Safety & CPR course is also included in the Complete Bundle and available separately.
Is there anything for my postpartum recovery?
Yes. Baby’s First Year includes support for the parent side of the first year too, including physical recovery, pelvic floor health, postpartum mental health, relationships, support, and adjusting to life after baby.
It is not just baby care. Your recovery, capacity, and support matter too.
Do I have to watch everything in order?
No. You can watch the course in order, or you can use it like a parent education library and jump to the topic you need most.
Many families start with newborn care, feeding, and sleep, then return later for development, solids, safety, routines, and new questions as baby grows.
How long do I have access?
You get 12 months of access to Baby’s First Year.
That gives you time to use it through your baby’s first year and return to lessons, downloads, and resources as new questions come up.
Can my partner watch too?
Yes. One purchase can be used by your household, so your partner can learn alongside you or on their own schedule.
It can also help you get on the same page around baby care, feeding, sleep, routines, safety, and what to expect as baby grows.
Is Baby’s First Year HSA/FSA eligible?
Yes. You will receive a receipt that you can submit to your HSA or FSA plan administrator.
Plan rules can vary, so we recommend checking with your individual plan if you have questions about reimbursement.
Do you offer financial assistance?
Yes. We offer reduced-cost options for families who need financial assistance, and your healthcare provider may also be able to help cover the cost.
Because our courses require time, resources, and ongoing support to provide, we do ask each family to make an investment when they are able.
