Quick clarity for real parents

Frequently Asked Questions

These are the questions parents ask before buying Baby’s First Year — sleep, feeding, milestones, “is this normal?”, access, and whether it’s practical in real life.

1 Is this course for me if my baby is already here?

Yes. Many families join in the first weeks/months when they’re exhausted and trying to make confident decisions quickly. You can jump to what you need right now (sleep, feeding, illness basics, routines), then return as new milestones show up.

2 Do you push a strict sleep method or oppose cry it out?

In Baby Sleep (and the sleep sections within Baby’s First Year), we don’t promote a single sleep philosophy or push a strict method. Instead, we explain how infant sleep actually works at different ages and give you multiple evidence-informed options so you can choose what fits your baby’s temperament, your family values, and your real-life capacity.

You’ll learn what sleep patterns are developmentally normal, what may signal a true concern, and what is simply a difficult phase many families experience. We focus on responsive, practical strategies that help build routines and support sleep skills without leaving parents feeling rigid or overwhelmed.

If you’re considering sleep training, we walk through the full spectrum of approaches — from fully responsive support to more structured methods — including how to implement changes thoughtfully and with confidence. The goal is not to tell you what you should do, but to help you make informed decisions without late-night Googling or second-guessing.

Bottom line: you won’t find a single “right” method inside our courses. You’ll find clarity, options, and a plan you can realistically follow for your child and your family.

3 I’m overwhelmed by feeding (breast, formula, combo, solids). Where do I start?

Start with the section that matches your current reality. We cover breastfeeding, formula, combo feeding, and introducing solids with clear, non-judgy guidance so you can make decisions without spiraling.

4 Does it cover “is this normal?” (crying, spit-up, poop, gas, fussiness)?

Yes. This is one of the biggest reasons parents buy. We help you understand common patterns in the first year and how to spot when to watch and when to reach out.

5 Will it help me understand milestones and what to do with my baby day-to-day?

Yes. You’ll learn milestone-based play and connection ideas, plus daily-care basics that make you feel more confident: tummy time, soothing, routines, and developmental expectations from 0–12 months.

6 Does it cover baby sickness basics and safety?

Yes. We cover common early illness questions and safety must-knows so you can respond calmly instead of guessing. If you want full CPR, choking response training, and deeper home safety guidance, the Infant Safety & CPR course is included as a stand alone or part of our bundle.

7 Can my partner (or another caregiver) access the course too?

Yes. Many families use this to get everyone on the same page — especially for sleep routines, feeding plans, and safety basics.

8 How long do I get access, and can I watch on my phone?

You’ll have 12 months of access, and you can watch on phone, tablet, or computer. Most lessons are short so it’s realistic to watch in small pockets of time.

9 Is this HSA/FSA eligible?

Often, yes — many families use HSA/FSA for educational health-related expenses. You’ll receive a receipt you can submit (confirm with your plan administrator).

10 Do you offer a money-back guarantee?

Yes — we offer a 15-day guarantee (as long as you’ve completed less than 10% of the course). We want you to feel confident about your purchase.

11 Is financial assistance available?

Yes. As part of our nonprofit mission, we reserve a limited number of reduced-cost course spots each month for families who need support.

If cost is a barrier, email kathryn@nurturednest.org and share the amount you’re able to contribute (suggested $25 or more).
