Courtney M. Miller, RN, BSN, IBCLC
Founder of The Better Boob Lactation & Breastfeeding Advocate
Courtney M. Miller combines professional expertise with personal experience to provide compassionate, evidence-based breastfeeding support for moms and families. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Kentucky in 2015, Courtney began her career as a registered nurse in the adult ICU before discovering her passion for maternal care. She spent two years working in Mother-Baby and Labor & Delivery units, where she developed a deep appreciation for the challenges and joys of supporting new moms.
In 2019, Courtney’s journey into motherhood ignited her passion for breastfeeding advocacy. Inspired by her own struggles to find adequate breastfeeding education and support, she became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) in 2020. After working in hospital postpartum care, Courtney founded The Better Boob Lactation to create a more accessible and empowering resource for moms. She’s since found her calling in guiding families through the ups and downs of breastfeeding, blending her personal insights with the latest research to deliver thoughtful, individualized care.
When she’s not helping moms achieve their breastfeeding goals, Courtney enjoys hiking and traveling with her husband, two young boys, and their dog. She’s a fan of Barre workouts, loves a good Target run, and is never without her Starbucks in hand!
Fun Fact: Courtney’s mission is all about making breastfeeding support approachable, relatable, and tailored to the unique needs of every family.
