Karen K. Williams is passionate about helping children and families thrive through personalized speech and feeding therapy. After earning her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Northeastern University in Boston, Karen combined her expertise with her love of communication and family connection to create Homegrown Speech.
With a family-centered approach and a commitment to research-based strategies, Karen works with babies, toddlers, and kids to meet their developmental goals. Her positive energy and creative methods make every session joy-filled and empowering, whether she’s helping a child find their voice or guiding families toward confidence in eating and feeding habits.
Karen’s background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and a Minor in Choral Music from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Her love of music often inspires her work, and she brings a unique harmony to every aspect of her practice.
When Karen isn’t working with families, she enjoys singing, learning piano, baking her legendary chocolate chip cookies, and spending quality time with her husband, kids, and beloved cat.
Fun Fact: Karen believes that every child’s progress is a family achievement, and her mission is to ensure that therapy is not only effective but also a joyful experience for all involved.
